Australian Federal Police have issued an urgent appeal as they hunt for eight-year-old Molly Noonan-Medley, who has been missing since October.

Noonan-Medley was last seen at Woonona, a suburb north of Wollongong, about 11am on October 31. Since then, the girl’s father, Henry, has been trying to bring his daughter home.

It is believed she is with her mother, Jacki Medley. Their location is unknown; however, they are known to frequent the Woonona, Wollongong and Huskisson areas.

NSW Police has issued multiple appeals for the young girl to be returned home; however, her father has been unable to find his daughter.

The Family Court of Australia has issued a recovery order – a legal instrument requiring the child to be returned to her father. Both state and federal police have joined the search.

Molly is described as being Caucasian in appearance with a fair complexion, 130–140 centimetres tall with a thin build, high forehead, deep blue eyes and golden blonde/light brown long hair.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen Molly or Jacki to contact authorities immediately.

“The pain of a missing child is incomparable. We can only imagine the strain this situation is placing on Molly’s family and loved ones with Christmas around the corner,” AFP Detective Acting Superintendent Carly Smith said.
