Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is back in Canberra this morning, as he is set to be interviewed on ABC Insiders.

It is unlikely he will stay much longer in Canberra after the interview, as he is expected to keep travelling later in the day.

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton’s press pack left Brisbane early this morning so it is currently unknown where the Coalition will next visit.

Our Political Correspondent Paul Sakkal is on the campaign trail following the PM, and our National Security Correspondent Matthew Knott is following Dutton.

They will be sure to provide you with any exciting updates throughout the day.
