Woman arrested after fatal stabbing near Ballarat

Police arrested a woman after she allegedly stabbed a man to death shortly before 8am on Saturday morning at a house on the outskirts of Ballarat.

The woman was arrested at the Mount Helen property, and it’s anticipated detectives will interview her today.

Emergency services performed CPR on the man, who died at the property.

A police investigation remains ongoing.
